Local Play Parks

South Oak Lane Park, SK9 6AR
Away from the centre of Wilmslow, this park is quiet (during school times) and has losts of new equipment; basket swing, crazy circular wheel, small tots area, swings and climbing equipment. Good way to spend 15 minutes of fun or a few hours! It has a couple of benches and a picnic bench.

The Carrs, Cliff Road (behind St Bartholomew Church)

Usual play equipment, including zip wire. Also behind the main swing park there is a skate ramp, basketball   net and goal posts. New addition of a wooden play area further along the path, which is great for climbing and exploring. Walk along the path along the river takes you to Style Country Park (takes around 45 minutes) but is lovely and scenic with lots to see on the way.

Waters Lane
(next to Firestation)
A small park, which tends to be very quiet most of the time. Has a climbing frame, swings and a couple of rockers. Feels slightly run down but great if you are in the centre of Wilmslow and don't want to walk down to The Carrs.

Alderley Edge Park,

Ryleys Lane

Great park, with a small childrens enclosed play area. There is a zip wire and large slide for older children in a seperate section. Also the park has tennis courts, a bowling green and a large open space - to let the children run wild or scoot along the paths.

Bruntwood Park, Cheadle
Great modern equipped playpark, with designated areas for different ages. Also a lovely pond with ducks, and wetland areas to explore. It also has an eighten hole par 3 pitch and putt. Refreshment kiosk and restaurant on site. This park is great for kids of all ages.
