Alderley Edge Village is running a fun Easter Egg Hunt, which starts today, and runs until the 7th April, in aid of the NSPCC.
Alderley Edge businesses come together to deliver a fun Easter Egg Hunt and there are fabulous prizes to be won including cash prizes, vouchers for Tuula Retail, Henry Johnstone Jewellers and Gusto Restaurant, a £25 iTunes voucher donated by Michael Chapman Estate Agents and Easter goodies from Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe.
Hen’s eggs hand painted by children from Riley’s School will be displayed in the windows of participating businesses. In order to enter you will need to find a secret letter displayed on an “Egg” inside participating retailers. Download your entry form here and once you have collected all the letters arrange them to spell a phrase, fill out your entry for and hey presto you could be in your way to win one of the many great prizes. There are even 2 bottles of wine donated by Portland Wine to be won by 1 lucky set of parents in the final draw.
Entries must be returned to Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe (in return for a little egg treat) by 4pm on Saturday April 7th. A draw of correct entries at 5pm on April 7th finds the winner. Entrants must be under 16 on April 7th and children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Entry forms can be collected from participating retailers including Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe who are organising the event. Judy O’Brien from Mr Simms says “I am delighted to have had such a positive and enthusiastic response from local traders wanting to participate in the event. I think it will be a lovely fun traditional activity for families enjoy together. Alderley Edge has such a friendly village atmosphere and so much to offer the consumer.”
